Arllys & Leo Hansen Scholarship
1 scholarship awarded in the amount of $1,000
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 3.0/4.0 at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation from high school.
4) Must submit an 500 word essay on "What community service have you been involved in and why has it been
meaningful to you". Think about President John F. Kennedy's quote, "Ask not what your country can do for you -
Ask what you can do for your country".
5) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students who have demonstrated a commitment to the community.
Arthur & Ruth B. Spence Scholarship
2 scholarship awarded in the amount of $1,500
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools or enrolled in a junior college, four-year
college/university or other accredited institution of higher education for the next term in which the scholarship is
awarded.
2) Must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.5/4.0 at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Cannot have reached their 25th birthday prior to January 1 of the application year or have been convicted of a
felony.
4) Scholarship must be applied to undergraduate studies and is applicable to any field of study.
5) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students who show outstanding citizenship and participated in activities.
Eugene Anderson Scholarship
3 scholarship awarded in the amount of $400
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must attend an accredited one or two year program at a community college, or vocational school the next term
following graduation from high school.
3) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Frank J. Hecht Scholarship
2 scholarship awarded in the amount of $750
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Student's class rank must be at or above 50th percentile at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation.
4) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students with financial need.
Frank & Esther Raabe Memorial Scholarship
1 scholarship awarded in the amount of $200
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.5/4.0 at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation.

Kathryn Raabe Scholarship
1 scholarship awarded in the amount of $2,500
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must be at or above 90th percentile at the end of the 7th semester of high school with preference given to students who are interested in agricultural pursuits.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation.
4) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students who are interested in agricultural pursuits.
W.G. Vogel Engineering/Medical Scholarship
1 scholarship awarded in the amount of $500
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.5/4.0 at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation.
4) Must plan to major in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a 4-year medical program such as MD,
RN, or Medical Specialist.
5) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students who plan to major in engineering.
Scholarships Offered to Students
10 scholarship awarded in the amount of $1,000
1 scholarship awarded in the amount of $500 to student who participated in golf their senior year
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average of 2.5/4.0 at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) Must attend an accredited college, community college, or vocational school the next term following graduation.
4) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
Consideration given to students who have not already received a scholarship and have at least qualified for the Honorable Mention Honor Roll.
Otto & Dae Bade Scholarship
2 scholarship awarded in the amount of $2,500 renewable for up to three additional years
1) Must be a graduating senior of the Stanton Community Schools.
2) Must be at or above 80th percentile at the end of the 7th semester of high school.
3) No Preference given to any field of college study; provided however, that the scholarship is intended to support academic and artistic goals, not athletic goals.
4) Must attend a 4-year accredited college or university the next term following graduation.
5) Must submit a personal statement of between 500 and 850 words. In the statement the applicant should describe one or more of the following:
a. Why he/she wants to go to college and three personal attributes he/she thinks will help him/her succeed in college;
b. His/her long-term goals and how furthering his/her education will assist him/her in reaching those goals;
c. An accomplishment of which he/she is proud or an activity in which he/she has been involved, and/or
d. Reflect upon any challenges he/she has faced and how he/she responded to them.
6) Must electronically submit an application on or before April 15th.
