ACE Scholarship- for students taking dual-credit classes through NECC. Student or parents must qualify for a federal benefit program (such as food stamps, free and reduced lunch) or provide summary of extreme hardship.

Nebraska Promise - The Nebraska Promise program covers undergraduate tuition at the University of Nebraska's four campuses (UNK, UNL, UNMC and UNO) and its two-year technical college (NCTA).
Tuition is covered for students who meet academic qualifications and have a family income of $65,000 or less

October 2 - Coca-Cola Scholarships - is an achievement based scholarship for graduating high school seniors each year. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, and their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. October 15 - The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program - The three finalists of the national contest earn some of the most generous scholarships. College scholarships available to students: $25,000 for first place, $22,500 for second place and $20,000 for third place. Each department (state) winner who is certified and participates in the first round of the national contest receives a $2,000 scholarship. Each first-round winner who advances to and participates in the second round, but does not advance to the final round, will receive an additional $2,000 scholarship to pursue education beyond high school. November 1 - Future of Nebraska Scholarship UNL - Five Nebraska high school graduates will be awarded a $5,000 scholarship to use during their first year at Nebraska. Eligible students must plan to graduate from high school in the fall of 2023 or spring of 2024, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be admitted to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln for the fall of 2024, and be a Nebraska resident. Preference will be given to students who plan to pursue a degree in the College of Business majoring in accounting, actuarial science, agribusiness, business administration, business and law, economics, finance, international business, management, marketing or supply chain management. High school seniors are invited to apply to be a COE Scholar. Successful applicants earning a bachelor's degree with a Legal Studies major or minor are provisionally admitted to the Nebraska College of Law. - STEM CONNECT Scholarships are need-based, with a maximum of $8,000/year. A student’s financial need is determined by U.S. Department of Education rules based on information provided with a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application.
- Scholarships are renewable subject to the program’s eligibility criteria for up to four total years at UNL or for two years at SCC or WNCC. SCC and WNCC students who transfer to UNL are eligible for two additional years of support at UNL.
- At UNL you must be majoring in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering at the time the scholarship is awarded.
- At SCC and WNCC, you must be in the academic transfer program at the time the scholarship is awarded, with a commitment to take math and computer science courses.
- Scholars must maintain a 2.75 GPA in their first year of college or their first year after transferring to UNL and at least a 3.0 GPA in subsequent years.
December 14 - AXA Achievement Scholarship - (3) Scholarships in the amounts of: $2,500, $10,000, $25,000 Must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities. December 15 - Nebraska Poultry Education Scholarship - Nebraska residents, those attending school in Nebraska, or those interested in a career in poultry-based in Nebraska are encouraged to apply for the 2023-2024 Nebraska Poultry Education Scholarship. A total of eight $1,000 scholarships can be awarded for the 2024-2025 academic year. The eight scholarships are awarded based on college credit hours completed (0-26 Freshman, 27-52 Sophomore, 53-88 Junior, 89 or more Senior, Bachelors Degree as of June 2024 Post-Grad). December 15 - J.H. & J.W. Claybaugh Memorial Scholarship - Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded. Nebraska residents, those attending school in Nebraska, or those interested in a career in poultry based in Nebraska are encouraged to apply for the J.H. & J.W. Claybaugh Memorial Scholarship. Applicants must be incoming college freshman or post-grad students. Transcripts are required for all submissions. Submissions will not be considered if a transcript is not received. December 15 - UNO Regents Scholarship - Offered to residents of Nebraska that are graduating seniors of Nebraska high schools. Applicants with a minimum ACT composite of 30 and either a rank in the top 25% of their graduating class OR a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher will qualify for the award. Covers undergraduate resident tuition for full-time students and is renewable with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. The award is renewable for up to five total years or until 135 attempted credit hours is reached (not including hours earned through dual enrollment or AP classes) or a bachelor's degree is earned. April 5 - Carriage House Foundation Scholarship - The Johnny Baxter Carriage House Foundation is pleased to announce the continuation of its scholarship program for students interested in attending one of Nebraska's Community Colleges to study in an automotive related field.
